Hi!  I am the Director of the Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center.  My job is to administer the District policies and procedures as set forth by the elected Board of Commissioners.  I am responsible for the administration of the rules and day to day control of District operations.  I work closely with the Board of Directors to develop the annual budget.  Once approved, it is my responsibility to run the District accordingly.   I am responsible for the recruitment, selection, training, and dismissal of all employees as well as the development and implementation of all programs.   

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics.  I am a Certified Aquatic Facility Operator, and certified through the National Park and Recreation Association as a Certified Park and Recreation Professional.  I am certified in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training through the American Red Cross and am certified as an Instructor for CPR, AED and First Aid through ASHI. I am active in the Society for Human Resource Management and passed the Human Resource Management PHR examination.  I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce and of the Washington Recreation and Park Assoc.

I am thankful for the work that I have been given to do and for those that I have the privilege of working with.  They are my best assets. 

In my free time, I enjoy sailboat racing and cruising.  I love to play racquetball, cribbage, eucre, read, walk, bike ride, cook, and relax with family and friends.  The Pacific Northwest has been my home since 1979.
