Graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy (1963) whose career consisted of some shipboardduty but mostly as an electronics engineer designing/managing/maintaining Loran electronic navagational stations from the Far East to Europe.Retired as a Captain in 1986.  Moved to Sequim in 1997 to golf, chase salmon, and play racquetball

Jan Richardson has lived in Sequim for the past 7 years. After a stint in the Navy, he attended collage as a Business Major. Work in aero-space quality control for years before starting and managing his own construction company for 15 years.

As far as I can remember, I joined the Clallam County Park & Recreation District #1 Board in 1974.  My children were small and I was very interested in their learning to swim.  I have served on the Board continuously since then.  At that time the District ran and maintained the local summertime only outdoor swimming pool, located in the middle of the Sequim High School Campus.  In 1984, with the need for an indoor year 'round community facility becoming apparent, we were successful in passing a $2,436,000 bond issue to construct the multiuse recreational facility we now

I moved to Seattle in 1996 after a career in the United States Air Force as a nurse.  Elected to the SARC Board in 2002
