This is a high intensity class offering a continuous circuit of ever changing exercises using body weight and free weights. This class is aimed to increase your muscle and cardiovascular endurance. Pilates7:45 - 8:45 a.m. Teacher: JenPilates bodywork connects mind, body and breath by increasing your deep core strength (without stressing the joints) and, at the same time toning and stretching your entire body. Get lean, long and strong. Step / Circuit:8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Teacher: TeresaAlternates step bench routines and a variety of circuits. This class will constantly challenge different muscle groups and cardio endurance. Level intermediate & up. Stretch Class10:30 - 11:30 AM Teacher: KeokiRegain and preserve much of your youthful flexibility through simple daily stretching exercises. A program of gradual stretching will allow you to loosen up, move more freely, experience less pain and enjoy life more fully. Tai Chi10:00 - 11:30 AM Teacher: TeresaClassical Yang style Tai Chi Chuan, an ancient form of martial arts, for health and self-defense. Comprised of slow moving yet concentrated forms emphasizing balance, coordination, and breathing. The class teaches relaxation, stress relief, and internal focus. Yoga9:20 - 10:20 AM Basic Hatha Yoga class for all levels. Class begins with warm - up movements and breath awareness to prepare you for yoga postures. The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation. |
